Our immunization clinic offers all routine and recommended vaccinations for children, adults, and international travelers. We accept Medicaid and provide a limited inventory of no- and low-cost vaccines for those 19 years of age and older without insurance. Please verify that your insurance plan is accepted at Denver Health before scheduling an appointment. Vaccine costs vary depending on insurance coverage, and prices are subject to change. We accept payments by cash, check, or credit/debit card. Mobile payments (Apple Pay, Google Wallet, and Samsung Wallet) are not accepted.

Please contact the clinic to check on vaccine inventories or if you have any questions about insurance or pricing. Appointments are always required as we do not accept walk-in patients. Make an appointment today! Call 303-602-3520 or schedule a vaccine-only appointment online via MyChart.

Please arrive 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time for check-in. Patients who arrive more than 10 minutes late will be asked to reschedule.

If you have any vaccine records available, please bring them with you to your appointment and share them with our front desk staff. You can access your Colorado immunization records (or your child's) through the Colorado Immunization Information System (CIIS) or directly from your healthcare provider. Please note, immunization records from CIIS may not be complete.

Questions? Call us at 303-602-3520 or contact us at travelclinic@dhha.org. Please note that messages and e-mail correspondence will be returned Monday through Friday during business hours.

The Immunization and Travel Clinic at Denver Health and other Denver Health clinic locations offer the COVID-19 vaccine, when seasonally available. Please note that Denver Health only carries the Moderna vaccine.

These vaccines are safe and effective and can be administered on the same day as other vaccines, including the flu. They are still important for protecting individuals and communities from the spread of the virus and to decrease hospitalizations and severe illness. A Social Security number and/or government ID may be requested but is NOT required to get a vaccine.

COVID-19 vaccines are no longer free since the federal public health emergency declaration ended. Out-of-pocket costs will vary under different insurance plans so please contact your insurance provider to inquire about coverage of the COVID-19 vaccine.

A vaccine called Jynneos can prevent mpox. If you have had close contact with someone with mpox, or are at high risk for exposure, you should get vaccinated. People who already have symptoms of mpox (fever, rash, etc.) should not get vaccinated.

Get two doses of the vaccine at least 28 days apart. For the best protection, get your second dose even if it has been longer than 28 days since your first. If you’ve already received two doses, additional doses are not recommended at this time, except for certain people who work with orthopoxviruses in research or mpox diagnostic laboratories.

Those who currently qualify for JYNNEOS vaccination include:

  • Anyone who had close physical contact with someone who has mpox in the last 14 days.
  • Anyone who:
    • Has multiple or anonymous sexual partners, or
    • Has close physical contact with other people in a venue where anonymous or group sex may occur, or
    • Was diagnosed with gonorrhea or syphilis in the past six months, or
    • Is living with HIV, or
    • Is immunocompromised and anticipates potential mpox exposure, or
    • Already uses or is eligible for HIV PrEP (medication to prevent HIV, such Truvada, Descovy, or Apretude), or
    • Has sex in exchange for money, shelter, food, and other goods or needs.
  • Anyone identified by public health as a known high-risk contact of someone who has mpox.
  • Anyone whose sexual partner identifies with any of the above.
  • Anyone who anticipates experiencing any of the above.
  • Some people who are traveling to areas with clade I mpox cases (see travel recommendations).

Please contact us at 303-602-3520 if you have questions about the mpox vaccine or if you would like to schedule an appointment.
