Our mission at Community Sexual Health is to enhance health and promote equity within our communities by providing comprehensive, client-centered sexual health services. We believe everyone deserves access to quality, compassionate care, regardless of their background, sexual orientation, gender identity or socioeconomic status. That's why we prioritize reaching communities that have historically been underserved and lack easy access to testing services.

We offer free and confidential STI, HIV, and hepatitis C testing in a safe and welcoming environment. Our team of caring public health professionals is committed to providing individualized care, focusing on the unique needs and circumstances of each person. This means having open and sex-positive conversations to help you make informed decisions about your sexual health. We also offer services in Spanish to ensure accessibility for all.

We understand that sexual health is interconnected with other aspects of life. Factors such as socioeconomic status, housing, and systemic inequalities can significantly influence an individual's access to care and overall well-being. Our services are designed to acknowledge these realities and offer support that extends beyond testing.

We offer a safe space where you can:

  • Get tested: We provide both walk-in testing and appointments for your convenience. See below for tests offered
  • Receive medically accurate information: We provide reliable information on STIs, HIV, and hepatitis C, including prevention strategies and treatment options
  • Access resources: We connect individuals with resources and support services in the community

We are committed to creating a healthier and more equitable Colorado, one person at a time. Contact us today at 720-415-7075 to learn more about our services and resources.

Testing Services

At Community Sexual Health, we offer free and confidential testing for a variety of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), including:

  • HIV
  • Syphilis
  • Chlamydia
  • Gonorrhea
  • Hepatitis C

Our comprehensive approach to testing ensures that each individual receives the care they need based on their unique risks and needs. We understand that not everyone needs to be tested for every STI, and we will discuss your sexual history with you to determine the most appropriate tests to recommend.

Rapid Testing: For HIV, syphilis, and hepatitis C, you will receive your preliminary results by the end of your session. Chlamydia and Gonorrhea Testing: These tests can be done on self-collected samples from different areas of the body depending on your sexual practices. Results for these tests will be available to you within 24-72 hours via phone call or online portal.

Testing Locations

We offer appointment-based testing at two locations:

  • 234 N Broadway, Denver, CO 80203 - We offer both appointments and walk-in testing at this location.
***We are moving! No appointments will be made at 234 after March 16th. More information coming soon.***
  • The Center on Colfax, 1301 E Colfax Ave, Denver, CO 80218 - Appointments only.

To schedule an appointment, you can:

Important Note: If you are experiencing symptoms of an STI, we highly recommend you schedule an appointment at the Denver Sexual Health Clinic (303-602-3540). We do not provide physical exams, medical opinions, or treatment services in our community settings.

Testing Frequency

How often you should get tested depends on your sexual lifestyle and practices. We can help you determine the best testing frequency for you during your visit. If you don't qualify for testing more frequently, we can offer a "quick" chlamydia and gonorrhea test between full panel testing. We are here to answer any questions you have about testing. Please call our team at 720-415-7075.

PrEP & PEP: Protecting Your Health

PrEP (Pre-exposure Prophylaxis) is a powerful medicine that you take to prevent getting HIV. When taken as prescribed, PrEP is highly effective at reducing your risk of contracting HIV.

  • PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from sex by about 99%.
  • PrEP reduces the risk of getting HIV from injection drug use by at least 74%.

Visit our PrEP infromation page to learn more. Our dedicated staff can help answer your questions, find resources to help you pay for PrEP if needed, and schedule an appointment to get you started. Call or text our team today at 720-415-7075.

PEP (Post-exposure Prophylaxis) stands for post-exposure prophylaxis. The word “prophylaxis” means to prevent or control the spread of an infection or disease. PEP means taking HIV medicines within 72 hours (3 days) after a possible exposure to HIV to prevent HIV.

If you think you may have been exposed to HIV, it’s crucial to act quickly. Visit our PEP information page to learn more. You can also contact us at 720-415-7075 or call our Denver Sexual Health Clinic at 303-602-3540. We can provide you with the information you need to make informed decisions about your health.
